We enthusiastically take part in community initiatives like charitable fundraising, regular litter picks, mitigating the consequences of fly tipping, creating or enhancing allotments, and most recently supporting foodbanks.
Sadly in these challenging times with the rising cost of living, many more people have found themselves turning to foodbanks to support their day to day lives.
Our staff have been keen to donate items or to raise funds to send to local groups in each area. We are very proud of our staff and the way in which they have built positive local relationships through their generosity.
We are always happy to consider supporting projects that require volunteering time. If you have any ideas and would like to discuss them please make contact with your local site manager.
Augean has a policy of purchasing services from businesses near to our operational sites making a valuable direct contribution to the local economy.
The majority of our staff live within close proximity to the site where they work. We like to be able to provide local people with local jobs.
If you have a project that is close the heart of the community and within a 10 miles radius of one of our sites please get in touch. We may be able to support your project either with people power or if it fits our criteria, some financial funding.
