The two liaison groups, Kings Cliffe Liaison Group and Thornhaugh Liaison Group have been an important medium for discussing with community representatives plans for any developments at ENRMF, Thornhaugh and Cook’s Hole, as well as reporting on operational and wider company matters and giving details about community funding matters. They are helpful forums in which the local community can raise concerns that can be more effectively resolved through open discussions.
The liaison groups are made up of representatives from Parish Councils in the vicinity of the sites as well as elected representatives from either North Northamptonshire Council or Peterborough City Council and their council officers. The Environment Agency also attend the meetings to report on any permitting issues.
We are happy to consider establishing other liaison groups if any local community feels that it would beneficial.
